I have both the mac and the linux readily available. I don't see tkregister2 in /usr/local/freesurfer/bin in my linux machine...

What OS are you using? tkregister2 as a GUI is not available on Mac. This is an oversight on our part...

Has it been deprecated by tkregister2_cmdl or tkregisterfv? If so what is the command to open up the GUI with FS6?
