Hi Andy, this is a bug introduced in 7.1.1, some kind of race condition.
You can fix it by commenting out this line in recon-all
if($OMP_NUM_THREADS > 1 && ! $LHonly && ! $RHonly) set cmd = ($cmd --parallel) # just hemis
