Hi Ruopeng,

Thanks for the suggestion.  I tried this but freesurfer complained "Unrecognized sub-option flag 'overlay_color'."  Perhaps you have a more recent version of freesurfer/freeview?

I'm currently running the following: freesurfer-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-stable5-20130513 with Freeview version 1.0, Build May 13, 2013.  If necessary, I'll upgrade.

Thanks!

You can set truncate like this from command-line:

freeview -f surface_filename:overlay=overlay_filename:overlay_color=truncate

Best,
Ruopeng
