I'm planning to apply linear mixed effects models to my longitudinal MRI dataset.

I found the LME Matlab tools are not included in FreeSurfer ver. 5.1. Is it possible 

to use the standalone copy of the tools linked in the website with FS ver. 5.1?

Do I need to run an extra command to my data before using them?

I have done all the data preprocessing with FS ver. 5.1, and I hope I don't have to do it again

from the beginning with a newer FS version…
