External Email - Use Caution        

Good morning,

I would like to aggregate the measurements for average cortical thickness across the two hemispheres. I read on the FAQ of the FreeSurferWiki that one way to do this is the following:

bh.thickness = ( (lh.thickness * lh.surfarea) + (rh.thickness * rh.surfarea) ) / (lh.surfarea + rh.surfarea)

Would you suggest any other alternatives to consider?
