Hello,

FreeSurfer 7.3.2 is compatible with Ubuntu 18.
We recommend installing using the '.deb' package for Ubuntu. The tar archive as also available if you do not have the system permissions to install from the .deb package.

Downloads for both can be found here, under the '7.3.2 release' section.

I am trying to use mri_easyreg on Ubuntu 18 and realize I need to upgrade to freesurfer 7.3.2 to use this function.

 

I am encountering issues downloading 7.3.2. Are the two compatible? Is there a link for setup I should follow?
