I am interested in running cortical surface area on longitudinal data from MRI scans and run multisubject comparisons (patients vs controls). I would like to ask you where could I find either a tutorial or a guide for performing such analysis. Also I am not familiar with freesurfer, so I am not sure which type of preprocessing should be undertaken.

I would greatly appreciate your valuable help on this topic.
