External Email - Use Caution
Dear Doug
Thank you for your response. We just found out that this problem occurs in many subjects where the 32 channel coil is used (mainly in the frontal cortex). We never had this problem using the 8 channel coil. Do we have to add something to the recon all code for a 32 channel coil? CAT12 has no problem to segment these subjects.
Manually editing would be very time consuming as it affects many subjects.
Thank you.
Kind regards

I think you would have to manually edit it_______________________________________________

Dear,
We also noticed a bad segmentation in another subject in the frontal cortex (see attached figure) which was correctly done using CAT12. Can we change some parameters to fix this?
Thank you

Dear,
In the attachment the figures. The surface placement is ok. The cautate is smaller than the segmentation.

The caudate segmentation would not affect the surface placement. Is the surface placement ok? Can you send a pic of the caudate error?_______________________________________________

The subcortical structures were not delineated correctly, especially the nucleus caudatus which had a lot of atrophy in this particular patient group.

I don't think CAT creates white or pial surfaces, so no. What is wrong with your FS analysis?_______________________________________________

Dear,
The segmentation using Freesurfer was incorrect, however we have a good segmentation from Cat 12. Can we use this segmentation for PVC in PETsurfer?
Kind regardsDonatienne
