I´m working on a correlation analysis with a seed-region.

With FDR correction I can see that the region correlate stronger with itself.

But when I do the Monte Carlo simulation, I can´t see this color difference in the correlation. (see attached images).

So my question is: why is it like this?

Should not the seed region correlate stronger with it self when using monte-carlo simulation?
