 - update the nvidia driver from their website (or run nvidia-installer
--update, which does this for you).

 - copy tksurfer.bin from here:
ftp://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/transfer/outgoing/fsdev/nicks/stable/centos4_x86_64

to here:
$FREESURFER_HOME/bin
