Intel has apparently issued a firmware update, but I don’t know how to verify if the processor has it. Because a CPU could be damaged from over voltage, Intel extended the warranty for affected CPU’s when bought as individually boxed or when the CPU comes installed on a system motherboard as part of an out of the box machine. You would have to contact the vendor you bought either the individual CPU or machine from to see if you qualify for a replacement. But I would at least try to make sure the firmware is up to date for the CPU.
