I'd have a quick question on using different installers for the FreeSurfer 7.1.1. release for preprocessing and manual edits: 

We initially preprocessed our data using the freesurfer-linux-centos7_x86_64-7.1.0-20200511-813297b installer, but have accidentally used freesurfer-linux-centos6_x86_64-7.1.0-20200511-813297b to edit the pial surface. According to the recommendation of using identical versions of FreeSurfer for all processing steps, we plan on re-creating the final surfaces and compute further analyses using freesurfer-linux-centos7. However, is it okay to use the brainmask files that were edited using freesurfer-linux-centos6 or would we need to edit the files from anew using freesurfer-linux-centos7?
