I am trying to project my SPM nii image onto an anatomical image to project them onto a cortical surface in Freesurfer, to generate images which look like this: Fig. 4: Refining neuroanatomical treatment targets for addiction. | Nature Medicine

 

Has anyone done this before and would be able to point me towards any resources to do so?
