I am testing the Sample Dataset and the FreeBeginnersGuide. However, I have problems with tksurfer. When I give the command

tksurfer good_output lh inflated

The tktools screen and viewer are open, however the viewer shows a black screen with no image. Via the tktools screen I can open an image (File etc.), but then the problems start. I cannot open more images at the same time, both the tktool sreen and viewer freeze.

I am using  Ubuntu 7.04 and Xwin32 7.0, both with the same problems.

I saw at the SupportForum something about tksurfer.statistic, but this doesn't work at all.....

Can you give me a solution?
