It gives the same results as the 5.3 version. The difference is that it does not require the ribbon.mgz file to be there in order to run. If you run recon-all from start to finish, then there is not a problem. If you run recon-all partially, then it may fail because it runs mri_segstats before the ribbon.mgz is created.
