you basically need to run the whole recon-all process. If you want a shortcut, you can use mri_synthseg with the --parc option. This is volume-based; maybe it is ok, but I have not evaluated it relative to surface-based.

        External Email - Use Caution

Hello, I’m working with data created using freesurfer, specifically aparc+aseg.mgz files (I’m using nii.gz).
I was wandering if you can tell me what is the minimal way to create this file? I don’t want to run the whole Recon-All process and was wandering if there is a shorter way to create them, and if yes how long creating one scan might take?

Thank you in advance.
