Hello FreeSurfer Developers,

 

I was wondering about the volume calculation of the structures in the aseg.stats file.

 

VoxelVolume_mm3 0.512

NVoxels 8616    Volume_mm3  4312.4  StructName Right-Hippocampus

 

After my calculation of NVoxels * VoxelVolume I get a slightly different value.

0.512*8616 = 4411.4

 

Where does the difference come from?
