External Email - Use Caution

So if I have 165 nii files in each run - should I name them f1.nii, f2.nii etc?

I tried compressing them into a single f.nii.gz file and it gave me the error I mentioned - "could not determine format for...".

Thanks,
Noam

they should be /home/developer/Desktop/Project/sess1/bold/001/f.nii.gz
I think nii should work as well

Hi again Douglas,

I'm trying to do the preprocessing of the functional data for the retinotopy runs.
I copied the files from matlab (I used SPM for some of my analysis).
When I try to run preproc-sess or selxavg3-sess I keep getting an error: "ERROR: could not determine format for /home/developer/Desktop/Project/sess1/bold/001/f".
I'm not sure if the problem is in my nii files which I copied to the run directory - should they be named someway? should they be compressed and zipped?
I can't find answers in the wiki or mail-archive.

What am I missing?

Thank you!
Noam

Try this:
Click on the "brain with scissors icon" ("Cut"), select the points, then hit "Cut Closed Line".
Now,  make sure the cursor is in the patch you want to keep, then hit "Fill Uncut Area"

Hello,
I need to cut the occipital pole in order to make a retinotopy analysis. I read that tksurfer no more exists, and with freeview I only succeed in cutting the plane but I'm having trouble with separating it into a patch with the occipital part only.
Do you know if there is a way to do this?
Thanks!
Noam
