Dear FreeSurfer experts, Sorry for the newbie question ^^; My goal is to detect candidate regions of focal cortical dysplasia in epilepsy patients, comparing to healthy control subjects. To do so, I've performed a series of processes as follows: 1) recon-all and manual correcting of visually confirmed errors for each each subject 2) calculated a set of MRI features(thickness, sulcal depth, gray/white rate, curvature, local gyrification index) for each subject. At this point, I have two questions. First, how can I do a statistical comparision using the z-statistic between healthy control group and individual patient. I have an experience for group-wise comparison by QDEC (eg. differences in cortical thickness of epilepsy patients' group compared to controls' group), but no experience of group vs. individual analysis. Second, how can I do combine z-scores of multiple MRI features, for example, combining of z score of cortical thickness and that of sulcal depth, to perform the z-statistic between the control group and individual patient. |
