External Email - Use Caution

Hi Doug,
Thanks for getting back to me and sorry for not being more clear. I am trying to associate TMS related inhibitory measures to the left pre- and paracentral gyrus thickness for two different groups (healthy, MS).  Additionally, I am interested in measuring the associations for gait related measures (speed, cadence, etc.) to the thickness of three particular ROIs (pre-, para-, and post central gyri). While I can run these associations with the aparc.thickness output, I would like visualize the association(s) on the brain via Freeview and further only show the associations for those specific ROIs. I hope that is more clear, please let me know if its not and I’ll try to explain it better.

Hi Freesurfer Folks,
I am wondering if it is possible to perform an ROI correlation which can then be viewed on the brain similar to whole brain GLM analysis in Freeview.  If so, how would I go about performing this type of operation as to specify that particular region. I have two groups (HC and MS) and would like to see if there is an association between paracentral gyrus thickness and performance of a lower limb motor task.  Thanks for any help you can provide,
Clayton
