Dear Freesurfers,<div><br></div><div>Is it possible to convert ascii files in surface files?</div><div><br></div><div>I found some posts in this mailing list only about converting surfaces to ascii files using mris_convert. </div>

<div><br></div><div>Actually, I would like to use the thickness ascii files (converted using mris_convert) to process the data in another software (such as R or Matlab), and then retrieve the results (in ascii) back to freesurfer, for visualisation in tksurfer. </div>
