Does anyone knows why I get the same average of HbR and HbO when I tick the option to 'Detrend Average', which is in Averaging menu -> Options. 
I use one of the example data sets: Simple_Probe.nirs 
I got the same kind of behavior when I use my files as well. 

Does this mean that one of the wavelets is suppressed for some reason? 

Any clue is appreciated.
