Nirs-spm can combine structure image(MRI) with nirs data , while Homer can provide a view of each channel data, also you can do some signal processing on it.
most of time , we can used homer to save each channel's data and processed nirs data on matlab.

Subject: [Homer-users] preferred way of anlayzing NIRS data

I have been using NIRS-SPM (Sungho Tak) for analyzing our NIRS data. I have not used Homer and was wondering if anyone on this list has used both and whether or not they had a preference.

Thanks in advance for any comments.
