Did you try to change the directory from the menu ? You can select the directory containing .nirs file.

I've installed Homer 2.2 (latest version) and try to open one of the sample files, but get the error below. The GUI opens fine, but the .nirs files seem not to open. It worked before on my macbook (10.6) but not on my current macbook (10.9.5). Does anyone know how I might solve this?

I've added Homer to my path and followed the youtube tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1jtsIEVHMY&feature=youtu.be but get stuck at loading in the .nirs file.
