Hi Renee,

You need to provide homer a period before the stimulus (designated by minus sign) which is to be considered as baseline and a period after the stimulus which should cover the whole time course for the HRF ie including the increasing, decreasing phases of HRF. Once you run it for these values, you can extract the HRF for each channel and subject from groupResults.mat file and average which ever time range you want (eg 4-8) for further analysis.

Hope this helps.

Meryem

Subject: [Homer-users] Problem using Block Avg trange

Hi,

We are trying use a Block Avg trange of 4 8 and we are able to see the raw data and OD for this range. However, when we attempt to visualize the Concentration with the HRF selected, we are unable to see anything in the Data Window. However, if we set our range to include a negative value (e.g. -2 8), we are able to visualize the concentration/HRF. Given that our goal is to use tranges of 4 8 and 11 14, any help is appreciated to clarify why we are unable to visualize our HRF data in the Data Window if we are not using a negative value OR how to remedy this issue.

Thanks in advance for your help!
Renee
