[Homer-users] Channel labeling on GUI channel configuration plot for >26 channels

Hi,
It appears that the default behavior in Homer2 is to label channels as A,
B, C... on the GUI channel configuration plot. With high-density data with
>26 channels (e.g. Shimadzu), then after 'Z' channels start to get labeled
by punctuation marks.
The behavior makes channel labels quite awkward for channels >26, and can
cause Matlab to throw warnings (2013b) or even hang when loading the .nirs
(2014b).
How could I manually specify channel labels (e.g. in the SD structure) or
customize the default channel labeling behavior (e.g. doing AA, AB, AC.. or
A1 B1 etc. after Z instead of punctuation marks) in Homer2?
Thank you.
All the best,
Laurie
