[Homer-users] Error while running Homer2_UI with hmrMotionArtifact

I have also come across the same problem. So you mean we could not use enPCAfilter to correct motion artifacts and physiological noises?
If so, are there any other alternatives to do the similar step?

Hi Charlotte,

You have many channels which are all zero which then results in Inf values in dod. The step that gives the error message is enPCAfilter which has an error check for inf values in y (any(isinf(y(:)))) even if you put 0 to skip PCA. If you remove the enpcafilter from your processing stream, it would work.

Subject: [Homer-users] Error while running Homer2_UI with hmrMotionArtifact

Dear Homer users,

I have attempted conducting analysis with Homer2_UI for my several fNIRS data with the aim of removing artifacts and calculating HRF. Before the Homer2 analysis, the data had been converted successfully to .nirs.

However, when I defined values in the "ProcessOpt functions" and ran the analysis, I obtained, for only one file, an error message that was popped up as below,

"Error: Function hmrMotionArtifact generated error at line 72: fs must either be "sample frequency or a time vector with same length as d"

I looked at various options in Homer2_UI to sort out this issue but they were unsuccessful. I even tried the solution proposed by Meryem (https://mail.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/pipermail//homer-users/2017-June/001027.html) but my raw signal has not negative values.

You can find it on https://mega.nz/#!6YxzHJzR!QNclxRL_68XMDhZchs5a78ksU3-fVPM5joUBpuMQSPY

So, it would be highly thankful if you could provide a feasible solution to overcome this issue.

Looking forward your assistance.

Thank you

Best regards,
