I'll again ask the .nirs file that produces the error. I did not have any error message with the previous file you sent.

Thanks for your help, sincerely.
I've updated the new version of " hmrNirsFileDownsample.m" from "https://www.nitrc.org/svn/homer2/UTILITIES/hmrNirsFileDownsample.m" .
It can work now!
However, errors message still appear when opened the data file that after downsampling.
Is there any way to fix the error message?
