[Mne_analysis] Error computing inverse operator using sample dataset

I'm getting the following error when running the mne_do_inverse_operator
function:

> Sum of covariance matrix elements is zero!

I noticed that the source covariance matrix is the identity matrix. Could
this be the source of the problem? Have I missed some step on the way which
may have caused this problem?
