hi,

when you do:

mne_setup_forward_model --surf --ico 4

as in :

https://github.com/mne-tools/mne-scripts/blob/master/sample-data/run_meg_tutorial.sh#L25

you properly decimate the bem meshes.

the -bem.fif file then contains the triangulations you want with
an acceptable resolution for BEM computation.
