[Mne_analysis] Getting Started with Python

Hello Experts,

Sorry, I have sent this question, but I did not get any response. I am trying to get started using the MNE with Python, and I am having some issues understanding the start up directions. I downloaded the canopy, but I am receiving an error. I am new to Python so I am not exactly sure what is happening.

ipython --pylab qt

does not seem to be working.  I have tried the terminal and the editor and python windows in canopy. Could someone please help me with setting up mne in canopy?
