Hey Dan,

As part of Google Summer of Code, Mark Wronkiewicz spent a good bit of time
implementing Maxwell filtering w/tSSS in MNE with a decent number of
comments. Can you see if the code + comments for _overlap_projector (and
_do_tSSS, which calls _overlap_projector) help explain it a bit?
