[Mne_analysis] Question about VolSourceEstimates and VolSourceSpaces

I have what is hopefully a simple question.

I'd like to extract signed (or full x, y, z) time courses from a
VolumeSourceEstimate but I haven't seen an example that shows a way to go
about this.

Is this possible with the current code. Some combination of 'loose' and
'pick_ori' options that accomplishes this or do I need to wait for
something like https://github.com/mne-tools/mne-python/pull/3842 ?
