hi Dip,

sorry for the late reply.

If STC contains signed values they should be zero mean during baseline so
no centering should be needed. Regarding scaling it depends on the stat
you use. If you use a t-test it estimates the standard deviation so apply
a scaling factor should not have any effect of the T-stats.
