Dear HOMER Users,

Please take a look at my questions and help me resolve this issues. My raw data file from HITACHI ETG-4000 has around 5000 to 6000 data points in the time series. I converted it into .fNIRS format for further processing. However I am not able to configure the processing option file (*.cfg) or use the processing option files used for the examples.

At the moment I am trying to play with these *.cfg files provided in the sample files on HOMER 2 website before actually configuring them to process my data. I started by using the simplest *.cfg file from example 1 which only has band pass filters and OD to Conc conversion. Although I do not get any error messages when I use this file to process my data, I am also not seeing any processed data. When I click on OD and Conc, I see nothing in the data window. I see a similar response when I used .cfg file from example 5. There was no error message when I used this file as well.

I then used .cfg files from example 4 to see what it does to my data and I get the following error message in the command window.

??? Error using ==> svd
Input to SVD must not contain NaN or Inf.

Error in ==> enPCAFilter at 82
        [V,St,foo] = svd(c);

Error in ==> EasyNIRS_Process at 88
        eval( fcall );

Error in ==> EasyNIRS>runNIRSsignalProcess at 1022
[procResult procInput err] = EasyNIRS_Process(hmr);

Error in ==> EasyNIRS>popupmenuNIRSsignalProcess_Callback at 1435
        runNIRSsignalProcess(iGrp,iSubj,iRun,handles);

Error in ==> gui_mainfcn at 96
        feval(varargin{:});

Error in ==> EasyNIRS at 43
    gui_mainfcn(gui_State, varargin{:});

Error in ==>
@(hObject,eventdata)EasyNIRS('popupmenuNIRSsignalProcess_Callback',hObject,eventdata,guidata(hObject))

??? Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback

I apologize for the long email. I'd appreciate any feedback you can give me. Before configuring these .cfg files I would like to see what the example files do to my data. For some reason they are not even filtering or giving me OD for my data files.

Thanks,

Sincerely,
