Hi all,

I was wondering about other labs who use 3-D digitizers (Patriot Polhemus)
in their neuroimaging protocols. When taking the measurements with the
polhemus pen, do you think it is essential for the optode location
measurements be made directly on the scalp?

Assuming the origins (Nz, Iz, Cz, AL/AR) are made with the pen on the
scalp, would the basic math behind scalp-to-cortical projection still work
if optode measurements were made with the pen on the optode, instead of on
the scalp itself (where the optode would be)?

Thanks,
Adam
