Hi Kellyann,

Can you send me the original .oxy3 and .nirs file that gave the error along with the conversion code?

Thanks,

Meryem

Subject: [Homer-users] Cannot open .NIRS file in Homer2

Hello,

I am using the Oxysoft2matlab tool to convert my fNIRS .oxy3 files to .NIRS files to be compatible with Homer2, however when I try and open the .NIRS file using Homer2 I get the following errors:

Cell contents reference from a non-cell array object.

Error in stimCondInit (line 9)
    if isempty(sCondNames{ii})

Error in fixOrUpgradeNIRS (line 232)
                    CondNames = stimCondInit(s,CondNames);

Error in getNIRSFileErrors (line 160)
    flags = fixOrUpgradeNIRS(flags,files);

Error in GetNIRSDataSet (line 67)
[files filesErr] = getNIRSFileErrors(files);

Error in EasyNIRS>EasyNIRS_OpeningFcn (line 67)
files = GetNIRSDataSet(handles);

Error in gui_mainfcn (line 220)
    feval(gui_State.gui_OpeningFcn, gui_hFigure, [], guidata(gui_hFigure), varargin{:});

Error in EasyNIRS (line 43)
    gui_mainfcn(gui_State, varargin{:});

Error in Homer2_UI (line 3)
EasyNIRS();

Does anyone know what may be causing this? I have tried allowing Homer2 to repair this issue but get no further dialog boxes and the file does not get repaired.

Thanks in advance,
Kellyann
