[Mne_analysis] EEG data conversion to fif

Dear Matti and MNE experts,

I intend to use the MNE program on analyzing EEG data for speech and 
voice perception. But I am not sure how to convert my EEG data  to fif 
file.

My 64-channel EEG data were recorded in ANT (the Netherlands) , which 
can be converted to a number of other formats such as Neuroscan cnt 
format and EDF format. The original recording also included electrode 
position file and trigger file in text. Most EEG manufactures (including 
ANT) allows exporting data to EDF format:

It would be really nice for MNE to have a feature to convert standard 
EEG data format such as EDF into fiff format.
