[Mne_analysis] Refarding bad channels

Hi,

   I am new to the MNE environment. I was analyzing the sample data set. I
deleted the bad channels and computed the averages. But my averaged
data still shows up the bad channel. Can anyone please tell me how do i
exactly clear the bad channels. Is it just File----Apply bad channels?
