[Mne_analysis] Updated version of MNE manual

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a resource with more detailed derivations of the
expressions in chapter 6 of the MNE-C manual
<http://www.martinos.org/meg/manuals/MNE-manual-2.7.pdf>. For instance,
section 6.2.6 mentions that "a section discussing statistical
considerations related to the noise normalization procedure will be added
to this manual in one of the subsequent releases". Are there any more
recent theoretical references for chapter 6?
