Hi,
I can't find in my freesurfer version the mri_decimate, and I tried to download it from the links in the mailing list archive but they are down.
From where could I download it?
Thanks Dorothy
Im fairly certain the mac version of freesurfer never included mri_decimate. Was the mailing list archive you came across a Mac specific one?

Hi Zake
Actually, it was you in one of the emails who linked a version for MAC: http://www.mail-archive.com/freesurfer@nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/msg37701.html
Then, Doug also posted a link for mri_decimate for MAC: http://www.mail-archive.com/freesurfer@nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/msg44192.html
Is it possible to currently get a mri_decimate MAC version?
Thanks Dorothy

Hello Dorothy,
I have reenabled the link below. However, there is a very high likelihood that this mris_decimate binary will not work with your version of freesurfer. This is because the Mac version of freesurfer has changed significantly since its release 3.5 years ago. However, the mris_decimate binary is available in the latest v6-beta release which you can download from here:
https://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/fswiki/DownloadAndInstall6.0-beta
Hope this helps.

HI Zake,
Yes the binary from the link doesn't work, but I have downloaded the newest version and it there.
Thanks Dorothy
