I have been trying to install the latest version of FreeSurfer. I was able to follow the steps as outlined in FS wiki website. I had a problem however when I wanted to test the installation. I typed in the command: tkmedit bert orig.mgz (as recommended) - after setev SUBJECTS_DIR

I kept getting the following error line: tkmedit.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Can you please help me.
