External Email - Use Caution

 You could try running a rocky8 OS in a singularity, docker, etc. container and then install the FS 8.1.0 rocky8 release in that.  I assume Rocky Linux supports quemu, which should allow running a VM running Rocky 8 linux.  The VM might be a more straightforward option for freeview users (which needs an X-Windows server). - R.
