Dear Freesurfer community,
I have the 7-network Yeo atlas in MNI space and as a nifti file as downloaded from the Freesurfer website.
Right now, the atlas has 7 labels for each of the networks. I however want to split this to the left and right hemisphere, ultimately creating 14 labels in a nifti file.
Could anyone share as to if and how this can be done with Freesurfer (I am unsure due to it being in volume and not surface space)?
Thank you.
Hi,
Networks have been previously split into 114 regions, this may be of use to you:

Here are some other options that you may find useful when working with the Yeo atlas:
1). Use mri_annotation2label to convert the yeo annotation file to individual labels 2). Use mri_label2label to map each label from the fsaverage space to the individual subject space
