Hi Reza,

what anatomical volume are you using? I think that either happens if you (1) don't have write permission to the subject's tmp/edit.dat file, or (2) the volume you loaded isn't "conformed" (i.e. not one of our standard anatomical volumes such as orig.mgz, norm.mgz...).
