Hello, I am working through manual edits and I've come across a subject with an area of very messy surfaces (both white and pial) despite that the WM mask seems to have been drawn just fine. Please see attached image. This subject was run with the following expert opts since some gray and white matter had been excluded from the surfaces in the initial recon-all.

mri_segment -wlo 65 mris_make_surfaces -max_gray_at_csf_border 40 -max_csf 15 -wlo 65

Is there a way to fix these surfaces?
