You might have an older bundle of the data. I've confirmed that the current tarball contains the aseg.stats file that you noticed is missing. It was missing at one point several months ago.

You dont need to download the tarball again if you dont want to. Instead, you can recreate the stats files like this, assuming you have the SUBJECTS_DIR set as you do already:

foreach s (`ls -d ???`) recon-all -s $s -segstats end

it will take about three minutes per subject. ignore the error about subject 'glm' not existing.

I can’t seem to locate the aseg.stats file in the tutorial data set. Did I not extract the file properly or something? Should it be there?
