Hi Dr. Iglesias,
We tried SuperSynth (development version downloaded 11/7/2025) on several subjects, and it worked very well. It took 12 minutes per subject (though we still needed to run Freesurfer 8 for the cortical parcels — this took longer). The PI will use the extra-cerebral regions for her study, though it will be a while before we have a paper to cite you.
I wondered, though, whether there was a counterpart to quantifyHAsubregions.sh for SuperSynth (i.e., extract stats into NumSubjects x NumParcels spreadsheet)?
Thanks for the great tools,
Donna

Thanks for the interest in our work, Donna. SuperSynth writes a CSV per case but we haven’t put anything together to crawl a directory and concatenate. It should be straightforward in Matlab or Python, though. Either way: duly noted! I’ll add this to my to-do list (spoiler alert: the list is pretty big…) Best wishes, /Eugenio

Thanks, Eugenio. I'm sure that list is quite long. ;)
