Is there any documentation for the OASIS freesurfer-processed data? I'm looking for details of human intervention. For example,
- were seeds inserted for any brains? - was the white matter edited - were cortical labels manually edited for correctness?
Any documentation about the whole process would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Satra
Hi Satra,
I don't think any labels were manually edited. If control points were added they would be stored in each subjects' tmp/control.dat file. Similarly, the wm edits are tracked in the wm.mgz volume. Voxels that are erased are set to 1 and those that are turned on set to 255. It's self-documenting :). You could use this info to generate a summary across the study, but we haven't done so. If you feel moved to build such a tool and contribute it we'd be happy to distribute it :).
cheers, Bruce
