Hi all,
In the aseg.stats file there is a measurement called Brain segmentation volume. Can someone tell me what it is? Is this same as whole brain GM volume? If not is there a way to compute that?

no, it's not. You can compute the GM volume by adding up the volumes of the individual gm structures in the aseg.stats file (e.g. caudate, putamen, cortex, etc....).
